Stibo Systems 2005 – present

Senior Architect · Master Data Management platform

• Migrated the proprietary C++ core to standard Enterprise Java, then to OSGi components.
• Maintained the service and UI layers and led several replatformings: SOAP → REST → GraphQL, and Swing → JSF → GWT → React.
• Chose the frontend stack in 2016: TypeScript, GraphQL and React, when TypeScript was controversial and GraphQL barely known. Still the stack ten years later.
• Frontend architecture: Nx monorepo, rspack, React context for state and Apollo Client for GraphQL caching.
• Built the design system and component library, documented in Storybook.
• Introduced quality gates: static analysis, unit tests and Cypress integration tests.
• Extend the GraphQL schema and Java backend so the UI gets the data it needs.
• AI Champion: leading the adoption of agentic engineering. Wrote agent skills and MCP servers, and a cross-platform toolkit that installs them into different coding agents.
